Stories of the Big Birthday Bash – the Picnic

Two of the picnics at the Big Birthday Bash When we were planning the Big Birthday Bash, creating memorable moments was what we were focused on… and when it came to the catering on the day, we wanted to find something that was perfectly Figgy, able to be distributed to 250 people… and to create that memory making moment!

Picnics are so very Figaro, with members loving nothing more than to be able to enjoy a picnic behind their car! And so, we thought, what about doing a really nice picnic for everyone at the Big Birthday Bash!

We had also had the idea to try to do something as a World Record, so we looked things up on Guiness World Records, and discovered that there isn’t a world record for owners of cars of the same mark and model, picnicking together!

Ray found some lovely baskets which members would be able to keep as a momento of the day, and we had long chats with the caterers to make sure that the picnics would be as enjoyable as the surroundings!

Evidencing the world record meant getting confirmation that every car attending was a Nissan Figaro (thus asking everyone for their Vehicle Identification Numbers), and documenting the cars that were in attendance so we can issue the file of evidence to Guiness World Records – huge thanks to Mark, Arvind and Rhiannon for helping us collect everything we needed!

Confirming whether we have achieved the world record will take a little time, but as soon as we know, we will be sure to let you know!
