Bulbs – Specification of Bulbs on the Nissan Figaro

Many manufacturers use the same code number for bulbs eg the interior light bulb would be LLB501 for Lucas, BLB501 for Bosch, R501 for Ring, 501 for Halfords. However, Osram, Phillips, Tungsrtram, etc use completely different numbers so you’d need to use the conversion chart in their parts book.

KEY:

Capless bulbs mean they have no cap or end to screw them in so insert into a socket.
* These are not easily available in the UK. It is recommended that you keep at least one 921 / 955 bulb for emergencies. Better still – keep a spare bulb kit in the car containing one of each type of bulb
** It is legal to use Xenon 30 or 60% brighter bulbs and indeed these are recommended as they consume the same power as a standard bulb but give improved performance. Blue-tinged bulbs, high-power bulbs, etc are not road-legal.
*** You can update the lights in the dash to LED which will last longer and are much brighter. Light Colour: White (although you can choose other colour’s) LED Type: 5050 SMD, Base Type: T5 Neo Wedge, Base Diameter: 12mm, Working Voltage: 12V DC You will require 6 (Tachometer – 2 LED’S & Speedometer – 4 LED’S) Read more
