Published by Figaro Owners Club, this Online (PDF) Guide is a 24 page comprehensive insight into buying and owning a Nissan Figaro.

As the car was manufactured in 1991, you must be armed with important and valuable information when inspecting, test-driving, and buying the car. The guide is divided into three sections: Before You Buy, Viewing & Test Driving, and After You Buy.

Thirty individual areas are discussed, which cover parts and what should be included as ‘standard’ with the car, what to look for, key inspection areas, cost suggestions for fixing any items, test driving the car, what you should pay, dealing with the paperwork, haggling for a discount and much more.

We advise you on current pricing, setting the budget, what you should pay and where to buy. The Guide also explains in detail how to check the car’s history (before you view it), do the paperwork, spot an illegal Figaro and check any outstanding finance. TEST DRIVING
Testing driving the Figaro is critical as it will identify problems. The Guide includes what to look for when starting the car, and how to check the steering, acceleration and braking. Again remember the engine will have high mileage so you need to make sure it’s been serviced and items such as the timing belt have been changed.
INSPECTION
The Figaro was manufactured way back in 1991 so a thorough inspection is highly recommended. This guide covers over 100 Inspection suggestions along with several detailed photographs. We point out important areas that are known to rust which if unseen could be very expensive to fix.
ACCESSORIES
The Figaro should include several ‘standard accessories’ with the car. The guide includes a section on what should be included and what is an ‘optional accessory’. It’s very important to check these are included when viewing the car. If not this could be used for price negotiating by pointing out that purchasing them afterwards will be expensive!
