Cleaning – How to clean the drain holes to allow water to drain video

Due to the Figaros drop roof, there are a number of water drainage areas that need to be checked and are working.

TWO TOP RUBBER ROOF DRAIN HOLES
You can check and if required re-route the hoses that drain to the bottom of the car to drain inside the front wing. This allows water to drain without any chances of it becoming blocked and means never again will any water enter the lower sill and stay there, rusting the car!

If you are getting your lower door sills changed or repaired then this highly recommended upgrade. It is also a good preventative measure with low-cost materials.

FOUR LOWER WET BOOT DRAIN HOLES
The top rear boot is a ‘WET BOOT’. The design allows a small amount of water to enter the car. Within the plastic tray is two drain holes which are connected to plastic tubes. It is important to test that there is no dirt or muck in these tubes which will block it.
