Rust – The Hidden Danger Beneath: Protecting Your Nissan Figaro from rust
Rust is the biggest killer of Figaros, and once it’s taken hold, the cost of repairs can be thousands of pounds. The Nissan Figaro was built in 1991, but like many cars, it has suffered from rust corrosion in certain areas of the bodywork. This could be due to a few design flaws, but it is also important to note that the majority of Figaros spent the first 10 years of their life on the wet roads of Japan, and the high rainfall levels compared to the UK could have contributed to this corrosion.
In the video, club founder Kevin Fagan provides a brief introduction to this important subject. The video is presented by Managing Director of The Figaro Shop, Christian Brooks and shot during the club’s Ace Cafe meet in May 2025.
