Kevin and Sue announce the Future of the Figaro Owners Club

The Figaro Owners Club was founded in 2009 by Kevin and Sue Fagan in support of their son’s dream of owning a Nissan Figaro. Since its creation, the club has been driven by their enthusiasm and the supportive community they have created. Almost seventeen years later, the care and kindness they have shown, coupled with the quirky and iconic charm of the Nissan Figaro itself, has generated a worldwide membership of over 5,000 people.

In that time, Kevin and Sue have worked selflessly in support of members, owners, and enthusiasts, creating insightful videos, designing unforgettable events and securing valuable benefits. The wealth of content on the website and forum is a testament to their knowledge and commitment to preserving the Figaro’s heritage for years to come.

Much like owners deciding the time is right to hand on the custodianship of their beloved Figaro, Kevin and Sue feel that the time is right for them to hand on the running of the club. From 1st November 2025, a team of Figaro owners who have volunteered to be members of the committee, chaired by Adam Woods, and will become the new custodians of the Figaro Owners Club, honouring the spirit of care, passion and selfless support that has been the lifeblood of the club for nearly two decades.

Kevin and Sue commented:

“After 16 years, it is with a heavy heart that we bid a farewell to managing the club. When we started the club back in 2009, we couldn’t have dreamt of how it would grow into what it is today. We are immensely proud of what we have both achieved, the friends we have made in the process and the places we have visited over the years during our rallies & events together. It has been an absolute privilege and pleasure to have run such a friendly club.

“But fear not, as we bid a farewell to managing the club, we are super excited to announce a dynamic new team of Figaro enthusiasts who are not only eager to keep the club running but are also brimming with fresh ideas and exciting plans to steer us into the future.

“Thanks so much for all your support and encouragement over the years and for making the club such a wonderful place to work. As Figaro owners ourselves with more time on our hands we now intend to have lots of fun with Belle, relax a bit, get better at playing the guitar (Kevin) and above all enjoy participating in club events.”

Adam and the Team commented:

“Through our involvement with the Figaro Owners Club, we have all had the opportunity to connect with fantastic individuals, develop lasting friendships, and benefit from the extensive knowledge and history offered by the club. We thank Kevin and Sue for entrusting us with their legacy. Their unwavering dedication to supporting club members, hand in hand with the enthusiasm of chapter coordinators and the wider Figaro Community, is too precious to lose.

As your inaugural committee, we are a dedicated group of enthusiasts who whole heartedly stand by the kindness, madness and fun of the Figgy Community. As the club’s newest custodians, we commit to securing the long-term future of the club by being in post as volunteers for at least the next 2 years, and formalising the club as a not-for-profit organisation.

Our principal objectives are to honour the foundation established by Kevin and Sue, sustain the club’s strong community spirit, and guide its progress as we approach Figaro’s 35th anniversary and beyond. While this is a significant responsibility, we are confident that, with the support of our valued members, we will achieve continued success.”

He loves bringing people together to make lasting memories rooted in fun and adventure.

We bought our Figaro in 2021 to make the most of life post-pandemic. Outside of my busy day job in procurement, club membership has been our gateway to meeting fantastic people and making lasting friendships. Coordinating club chapters and organising events has showcased the best of the Figaro community in the club. We will honour that kindness and respect as we look to the club’s future.”
