Decals – Rear Top Boot Lid Decals
An optional extra when the cars were produced, Ken Graham’s Figaro had the boot decals when it was imported in 2011. The glue attaching the decal had deteriorated & the decals looked tired, so Ken patiently removed the original and attached a replacement set from a company on the Club Website.
This year (as you may have seen from a recent newsletter), Fergus underwent some major restoration work, which included repainting the top boot lid; however, the decals were lost again. A visit to the Club website confirmed they were no longer available!
Ken embarked on a ‘Google Search’ and found a ‘Custom Decals’ site (RawDesignCoCanada) on ‘Etsy’. He contacted them, sent a photo and asked if they could reproduce them. Rhiannon replied and said no problem if he sent the measurements. They were received in a few weeks and are now attached (see photo).
With the template made, Rhiannon was happy to list the decals as an item on her site and for us to provide info & a link to her page on our website.
Ken was delighted with the end product & ease of attachment. He has original white, but various colour options are available. Cost varies around £26/£32 depending on the GBP/Canadian Dollar exchange rate, with delivery to the UK an extra $15CAN (A ‘first order’ discount code of 10% is also available when you click the link).
