Guernsey Car Show – 15th June 2025
Words and Pictures by Channel Islands Chapter Coordinator Brian Crockett
Minty took centre stage at the Guernsey Classic Car Show on a sun-drenched Sunday, turning heads and sparking smiles among enthusiasts and passers-by alike. Nestled among an array of vintage beauties, Minty, resplendent in its Emerald Green, stood out as a charming testament to the retro-modern design.
The Guernsey Classic Car Show, held annually, is a celebration of automotive history, and this year’s event was no exception. With over 150 Vehicles from the 1930s up to the modern day. The majority are Guernsey-registered vehicles, but there was a splattering of UK vehicles as well.
A highlight of the day was connecting with other Nissan Figaro owners, a delightful surprise that expanded our local network. We discovered at least five Figaros are in Guernsey, a couple more than we previously thought, fostering new friendships and shared enthusiasm. Engaging with fellow car lovers, we swapped tales of Figaro adventures and answered questions about Minty all day long.

As the day wound down, our Figaro basked in the golden Guernsey sunlight, a true star of the show. The event reminded us why we cherish our little Figgy—not just for its rarity, but for the joy it brings to every outing and the community it builds.
Watch this space! Next year, let’s get the entire club over to Guernsey and make a weekend of it
