Scenic Tour of The Mourne Mountains – 27th September 2025

We headed off despite a weather warning for heavy rain and flooding in the local area, and managed to stick to the planned itinerary despite the rain. We were rewarded in the afternoon with clear skies and beautiful views of the Mourne Mountains from the Silent Valley Reservoir, all topped off with a vivid rainbow arcing from the mountains to the Irish Sea.
