Khurram Saqib – Why I love my Figaro
Khurram tells us all about his Figaro Love Story
The first time I saw a Nissan Figaro was in 2007 – and I instantly fell in love. That beautiful, timeless car captured my heart. For years I searched for one, even though old cars were hard to import to Pakistan.
In 2016, my dream finally came true. I found my Emerald Green Figaro with only 60,000 km on it — and it felt like destiny.
In 2017, I joined the Figaro Owners Club and met Mr. Kevin Fagan, a truly kind person who warmly welcomed me into the Figaro family. Since then, my passion has grown. My family and friends became a true fan of Figaro unique design, elegance, and classic charm. They chose my Figaro’s name (Little Figg).
My passion for the Figaro became even stronger. I attended many auto shows in my city and other cities of Pakistan, where my Figaro won several awards.
In 2019, the club announced the 10th Birthday Celebration of the Figaro Owners Club. My wife Mrs. Benish and I were extremely excited to participate. We registered for the event and made all necessary bookings. Mr. Kevin was very helpful at every stage, especially during the visa process.
Finally, the wait was over, and we flew to the UK.
We attended the Wales Figaro Rally and the club’s 10th Birthday Party, which became one of the most memorable events of our lives. We met many wonderful Figaro friends at the Metropole Hotel, and it truly felt like a family gathering.
Luckily, we won the First Prize for the Furthest Travel, which was a very proud moment for us.
During our UK journey, we collected countless beautiful memories with the Figaro family. We were warmly hosted by Mr. Reid and Mrs. Heather from Perth, Scotland, and together we explored St. Andrews and other beautiful places with great hospitality. In the Yorkshire Dales we were guests of Jane Alison Bates, where we spent quality time and enjoyed unforgettable moments.
After returning to Pakistan, I continued promoting the Figaro spirit by arranging small gatherings and events with Figaro lovers in my town.
In 2025, Mr. Adam and his team took over the club with fresh energy and new future goals. After personally calling me to discuss the future plans of the club, I am very thankful to the team for formalising the Pakistan Chapter on the website and other platforms.
Today, I proudly serve as the Pakistan Chapter Coordinator. In Pakistan, there are only a few Nissan Figaros, but there are many people who truly love and admire this beautiful car. Recently, I arranged 35th birthday party of Figaro at my place many Figaro lovers and members participate in this event. Very soon we are arranging club’s 17th and members meetup. I am very excited to participate 35th Birthday Bash in August.
For me, the Nissan Figaro is not just a car – it is a passion, a lifestyle, and a connection to a wonderful international family.
