Fun in the Figgy Community!
One of the most attractive things about the Figgy Community is that, as well as being as mad as a box of frogs, Figaro owners and fans are such great fun!
Over the years we have enjoyed posting some fun, but fictitious, articles to celebrate April Fools Day!
- 2022 saw the supposed discovery of a 5th original colour called Citrine Gold
- 2023 suggested an application for a Royal Warrant for The Royal Figaro
- 2024 revealed a previously undiscovered onboard computer system
- 2025 revealed an alleged partnership with Dior to create a Figaro fragrance
This year’s has been no exception, with an additive that would turn exhaust fumes into love hearts!
… and my goodness it was popular, with over 8,000 views on social media in less than 24 hours, 14 emails into the club, and 24 applications for a free sample!! We didn’t expect that at all, so thank you so much for your support!!
The story itself was laced with signs that it was unlikely… including:
- a female character seemingly very similar to Winston Churchill, but Scottish (Church=Kirk, Hill=Brae)
- who turned her skills as a rocket scientist to achieving better fuel economy – possible perhaps
- someone turning their parking stick side on to achieve better aerodynamics… was the only part of the story that was true!
- someone might well manage to drive on a full tank to Ben Nevis, but there’s no way a Figaro could get up the mountain
- and, of course, getting exhaust fumes to turn pink, let alone creating perfect heart shapes is impossible!
We were mightily tickled by the wonderful responses we received, including from one “Ed Milliband” who messaged in for some Scotch rather than tell us off for destroying the environment!!
There were of course a handful who were taken in! So sorry that this wasn’t real, but hopefully you will see the funny side! For those who sent in photos, we would like them add them to the “Why I love My Figaro” Gallery, so we will be in touch to ask you if you don’t mind!

Sitting in a garage waiting for the renovation to be completed my wife’s Figaro could do with some love to cheer up the lonely days sat waiting for attention. As you can see in the attached photo I have already tried the Lovative in a new 2026 Figaro in America but got booked for Love polluting in a deserted area.
