Autumnal Day Out in Rutland – 2nd November 2025

As a club, there’s nothing more lovely than hearing from members about their trips out together!

We were delighted to hear from Alan and Sheena about their recent autumnal trip out with nine Figgy friends around North East Leicestershire and Rutland in the UK on 2nd November …

“We were celebrating Shona’s return to the road after her Fig had spent a few months dismantled for rust removal and a complete respray, and she recovered from a broken wrist!

“Michelle and Mark organised a breakfast meet-up at The Coffee Barn in Buckminster, near Melton Mowbray.

“Then we had a five-car convoy, including Cat and Kev, Carol and Carrie, and Sheena and Alan, that took us on a twenty-mile drive through the quiet and sunny countryside to Wymondham Windmill.

“There we had a chance to potter round the craft shops and have another cup of tea before heading for home.

“A lovely autumn drive before we hunker down for winter!”

Thanks again Alan and Sheena – looks like you had a lovely morning out with Figgy friends!
