Club expands Payment Options

We have been gathering lots of feedback over the last three months, so thank you if you have been in touch with the club with your thoughts.
Where possible we will look to act on feedback as quickly as possible, but sometimes there can be practicalities that mean some things take longer than others.
After announcing updates to the Member Portal MoJo two weeks ago, we are pleased to confirm that we have now implemented an option that provides members with additional payment options for memberships, valuations etc.
Feedback from Overseas members highlighted that PayPal isn’t available everywhere, and that International Banking costs are very high, so we are pleased to confirm that we have implemented another payment system “Stripe”.
What is particularly handy and convenient for all members is that Stripe can also be used for Apple Pay or Google Pay payments too.
Since we took Stripe live on 1st February we have already had 7 payments using it, so it’s great that this is already working so well!
Just for your information, both PayPal and Stripe (for Apple Pay and Google Pay) do charge transaction fees to the club for payments,
so a payment using Bank Transfer will cost the club less to process.
However, a bank transfer does require additional administration from the club to cross reference and allocate your payment. So, it’s six of one and half a dozen of the other as to which is better!
As mentioned at the start, we will always look at ways in which we can listen and help members as we go along, and
hope that the recent updates help demonstrate this.
