Cleaning – How to clean the seat belts on a Nissan Figaro Video
Over the years the Ivory seat belts can discolour and become more stuck as you unbuckle and they try to retract. Club founder Kevin Fagan demonstrates how you can bring them back to looking just like new and improve the retraction of the belt. You will require a bucket of warm water mixed with a dash of washing powder (we used Persil) and some clothes pegs.
The job takes no longer than 30 minutes but make sure the sun is shining or it’s warm to allow the webbing to dry before you retract them. Whilst washing the belts Kevin also took the opportunity to clean the fabric internal roof seal which again came up like new.
