Classics on the Plain – 22nd June 2025

From the past years of doing Figaro only events, this year I decided to open ‘Picnic on the Plain’ to any vehicle of interest – hence it being renamed ‘Classics on the Plain’ Setting up early I waited to see what would show up and it didn’t take long – firstly having the Citroën 2CV owners club rock up, closely followed by members of our club! We had a total 5 Figaros along with a Pao representing the Pike Cars.

We had a total of 72 cars in all ranging from an American Buick to a VW Split screen Campervan and an E-Type Jaguar to a Shelby Cobra. Most surprising was somebody brought a Sinclair C5 which if you didn’t know was a discontinued and rare mini electric scooter from the 1980s.
