Flare – Breakdown Flare

The Figaro was supplied with a breakdown flare. Now just why Nissan choose to provide this ‘marine type emergency signalling technique’ is a point for discussion but like so many other quirky items on this vehicle it’s just another reason to love the car!

The flare is located within the passenger footwell and retained by a clip. The user manual instructs the owner to remove the flare from its holder and a diagram is printed on the side showing how to ignite. The flare is then placed on the ground upside down and alight to signal that you have broken down and require assistance. The flare has a burn time of 5 minutes.
