Maria and Gary report in on a Sunday Roast and Retro Charm: Figaro Owners Club Figgys and Chat at Goodies!

Who lets a bit of typical wet weather stop a Figaro meet-up? Certainly not us!

On Sunday 18th October, 11 eager Figaro fans gathered for our latest club get-together at Goodies Restaurant. Despite the rainy forecast, spirits were high as a brilliant line-up of 5 fabulous Nissan Figaros rolled into the car park. Seeing those iconic retro curves lined up together – ranging from classic pastel shades to sleek grey. Instantly brightened up the grey skies!

Before heading inside, we couldn’t resist brave-facedly standing out in the drizzle to admire each other’s cars. Is there anything better than admiring chrome trim, comparing paint colours and swapping maintenance tips with people who love these little cars as much as we do?

Good Food & Great Company 🍽️🍷

Once inside all 11 of us squeezed around a cosy, bustling long table to enjoy a traditional Sunday roast. While our meal was a tad late arriving, the delicious food was well worth the wait! The extra time gave us plenty of opportunity to catch up, share laughs, and keep the Figaro chats flowing.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a classic car meet without a little bit of drama! The alternator belt had come off my Figaro, leaving me in need of a boost. Special thanks to Claire, Clive and Nellie, who helped jump start Freddie.

A huge thank you to everyone who made the trip out, braved the weather, and contributed to such a fun day.

Days like this remind us why being part of the Figaro community is so special – great cars, fantastic food, and even better people!
