Club Members Growing Passion for Custom Colours

One of the joys of being part of the Figaro Owners Club is admiring the cheerful mix of colours that make our cars so distinctive. This month, we took a closer look at the colour breakdown of our members’ Figaros and the results paint a vibrant picture of our wonderfully eclectic community.

The Nissan Figaro was produced in four main body colours, which we refer to as Original Colours; Emerald Green, Pale Aqua, Topaz Mist and Lapis Grey. Every owner makes their Figaro their own to some extent, “Your Figaro Your Way”, whether that be with some decoration or personal touches… but some owners have provided further individuality to their cars or to their own taste, and have re-sprayed their car in a Custom Colour, the most popular choice being Pink – we think the Figaro looks stunning in just about any colour!

Looking at the information the club holds about our members’ cars, this highlights a beautiful spread across the Figaro’s iconic original colours, with a healthy number of custom Figgys as well!

Lapis Grey leads the pack with 29% – compared to 41% of the original cars produced*
Emerald Green shines bright with 26% – compared to 28% of the original cars produced*
Pale Aqua adds a splash of cool with 19% – compared to 20% of the original cars produced*
Topaz Mist brings warmth with 14% – compared to 11% of the original cars produced*

The number of cars in a custom colour have steadily increased over the years, with 25% of the cars being a custom colour at the Devon Rally in 2024, and 20% of the cars at the Isle of Man Rally last year! So, it was interesting to have a look to see how many members cars in total are noted as being a custom colour.

According to our membership database, 12% of members cars are in a custom colour… we didn’t previously provide different custom colour options, but we have remedied that, so if your car is a custom colour, please head over to the Membership Portal to update your Figaro by selecting one of the “Custom” colours available!

We can then report back to let members know custom car colours are out there! This delightful spread of hues reflects the character of our club: diverse, expressive, and full of life. Whether softly pastel or boldly custom, each Figaro carries its own personality – and each one adds something special to our shared passion.
