Prescott Hill Climb is one of the most iconic and prestigious motorsport venues in the UK, set deep in the Cotswolds and celebrated for its rich heritage and thrilling atmosphere. Founded in 1938 by the Bugatti Owners’ Club, the hill has become a legendary destination for drivers and spectators alike, thanks to its technically demanding 1,128 yard course and dramatic 220 foot climb. Over the decades it has hosted major events, including rounds of the British Hill Climb Championship, and continues to draw top competitors and enthusiasts from across the country.
The 60 acre estate offers sweeping Cotswold views, historic surroundings and some of the finest spectator vantage points in British motorsport. Prescott delivers a unique blend of heritage, excitement and pure motorsport theatre. For anyone with even a passing interest in cars, it’s far more than a venue — it’s an experience, and a true gem of the Cotswolds.
The Upper Orchard area of the Bugatti Owners’ Club is dedicated to a showcase of classic, vintage and special vehicles — a relaxed, friendly space where enthusiasts can display their cars and enjoy the company of fellow owners. For those who wish to take part, the ever popular gentle cavalcade up the hill will return once again, giving participants the rare chance to drive their vehicles on the famous Prescott course in front of an appreciative crowd.
A £25 per car entry includes:
• entry for the vehicle, driver and all passengers
• a souvenir programme
• participation in the lunchtime cavalcade
For those who want a little more, Option 2 allows you to drive the course solo rather than as part of the cavalcade. This allows you to push your Fig as much as you dare! However, it does come in at £75 per car. Plus you need to apply for a temporary Motorsport Licence. In Andrews’ opinion well worth it !!
If this is your first visit, the Static Display and Cavalcade are the perfect introduction — a relaxed way to enjoy the venue, meet other Figgy owners and decide whether you’d like to try a solo run in future years.
Don’t forget to bring a picnic – unfortunately the site does not allow dogs.
