Description:

Last year’s Cotswold Tour was a standout day – glorious sunshine, stunning scenery and a route filled with those classic Cotswold views that seem to stretch on forever. The Winchcombe Rotary Club organised everything beautifully, and the entire entry fee went straight to charity, which made the day feel even more worthwhile.

One of the highlights was our stop at a 15th century National Trust pub for lunch, full of character and history. Later, we climbed high into the hills to a superb farm shop, where ice cream, cakes and coffee were enjoyed against a backdrop of breath-taking views. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and full of good humour — everyone who came along had a fantastic time.

The 2026 Tour will follow a new 80 mile route, taking most of the day and offering fresh scenery even for those who joined us last year.

We’ll set off from Ye Olde Hobnails in Little Washbourne on the B4077 near Winchcombe, with breakfast baps and hot drinks available before departure. The entry fee remains excellent value at £30 per car, regardless of the number of passengers.

Winchcombe Rotary are aware that many of us would love to take part again, and they’re ready to welcome us back. If you’d enjoy a full day exploring the Cotswolds in great company — with beautiful roads, charming stops and plenty of time to chat, relax and soak up the views.
