Chapter News including Joint Chapter Coordinators
Figaro Owners Club is very appreciative of all the time and effort that our Chapter Coordinators undertake to support the various regional and country chapter groups, and the support they provide to our members across the countries and regions where the club has larger numbers of members. In support of our Chapter Coordinators we are pleased to announce some updates!
Since our first meeting in November we agreed to meet regularly with Chapter Coordinators, and have recently provided updated guidance to help Chapter Coordinators liaise with members, and manage the Chapter Facebook Groups that are exclusively available to Club Members.
One bit of feedback was about about the practicalities of Chapters, both from a size and number of members perspective. While we look into ways that we can adjust the set up in club systems, we wanted to find a way to help Chapter Coordinators in the meantime.
It has always been the case that members can arrange things like meet ups themselves, supported by their Chapter Coordinator. But large areas with lots of members can be a lot for a Chapter Coordinator to take on. Already some Chapters have couples looking after the Chapter, which is great, but we haven’t previously had it that two separate members could share the role. So, we have agreed to do just, enabling two separate members sharing the role, each being Joint Chapter Coordinator for that area.
On that note, we are pleased to welcome Lynette Parsons back to the UK South West Chapter! Lynette will be working closely with Kitty and Andrew on supporting the South West of the UK including events and activities. Lynette, often matching perfectly with her gorgeous purple Fig Florence, looked after the UK South West 
Chapter up until a few years ago. Congratulations all! You can find all of their contact details over on the Chapters page.
We are also pleased to announce that while Adam stepped in to look after the UK South East Chapter over the last couple of years, that Carla Perry has been appointed as Chapter Coordinator for UK South East. With a lot of experience of looking after older vehicles, Carlas has cherished her Figaro Wolfgang (Wolfy for short) over many years! Congratulations Carla! Carla and Adam will both be attending the Birthday Figgys and Chat at Little Fants Farm near Maidstone on 14th February, so if you fancy coming along to meet your new Chapter Coordinator, register your attendance on the website today!
We are also looking for someone to take over the reigns looking after the Eastern Chapter, and we also have vacancies in Australia, Canada and New Zealand!
