Discover more about the Nissan Figaro!

This charming little car has a unique ability to bring smiles to the faces of passers by, sparking their curiosity and leaving them wanting to know more. It is not uncommon for Figaro owners to be approached with questions like “What is it?” and “Do they still make them?” These enquiries have become the norm, and Figaro owners take pride in sharing their knowledge and passion for this iconic vehicle.

There’s tons of information here so have a good old nose around. We recommend looking at our section on history as it will provide you with a better understanding of how the car came into the world.

If you are thinking of buying one, you are welcome to pop along to one of our events and chat with owners or read our section on buying advice. If you want to take it a stage further then maybe reading our Nissan Figaro Buyers Guide would be a great ‘first step’ as it provides totally independent advice on all aspects of inspecting, test driving and buying the car.

How the club started

Kevin and Sue’s son Daniel had always wanted a Figaro having seen the car at his local garage when he was just 16. After saving for a number of years (plus a small contribution from his mum and dad!) he, at last, brought an emerald green model in May 2008. Following the purchase, Kevin and Sue searched on the internet for a club in the hope that they could attend events and meet other owners. They were amazed that no club existed at that time, and so the Figaro Owners Club was born! They decided to build a basic website and forum which took a few months and on the 1st of March 2009, they pressed the publish button and waited to see if anyone wanted to join.

Within a week they had 10 members, a month 35 and a year 478! Today the club has over 1,000 members worldwide in 20 countries including New Zealand, Japan, Australia, USA, Canada, Germany, Spain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Sweden and many more.
