After almost two years in the making, the event is almost upon us! To help make things run smother over the weekend we have created this information page which includes helpful links and stuff you will need to download in advance to get the most of the weekend.  With the cloud of COVID-19 still very much over us, please take a moment to read the Visitor COVID-19 Safety Procedures below as your health & safety is so important to us both.

COVID-19 Safety Procedures

In line with current Government guidelines, we ask that you read through the following COVID-19 safety measures that we have put in place to ensure that everyone stays safe during the event.

  • Everyone must follow the Public Health England (PHE) Guidance and Government restrictions. Those who do not follow the guidelines may be asked to leave the event.
  • Think Hands, Face, Space.
  • Anyone exhibiting symptoms must not attend the event.
  • Anyone in a household where someone is displaying symptoms must not attend the event until they have received the result of a negative coronavirus test.
  • Everyone must observe and follow all instructions from authorities in the event of new local restrictions / localised lockdowns.
  • A facemask should be worn in all indoor settings except for when eating or drinking.
  • 2m social distancing should be maintained wherever possible, even outside. Where 2 meters social distancing cannot be maintained we advise wearing a facemask.
  • Everyone should undertake increased handwashing for 20 seconds with soap and water or hand sanitiser after blowing nose, sneezing, coughing and when starting a new activity or before & after eating. Handwashing facilities will be signposted, and hand sanitising stations will be placed around the field for your use.
  • We are encouraging all of our exhibitors to operate a card-payments only system to reduce cash handling.

DRESS TO IMPRESS

On Sunday we are asking everyone to dress up both themselves and their Figs! Choose a vintage/fun outfit or pre-buy one of our fun branded 30th Birthday Weekend T-Shirts for £15.39 (see insert). The design matches the flag, show guide, car sticker and goodie bag so you will look the part. We have organised a number of photo-opportunity areas to capture these special memories.

FRIDAY 25th JUNE 
DRIVE TO CAFFEINE & MACHINE
£10 PER CAR

In the evening you have the option to join a figgy drive-out to Caffeine & Machine where we have arranged Figaro Parking and Food & Drink.  The idea is we leave Walton hall in convoy and drive to the C&M which is about a 15-minute drive.  Once parked up together you can browse their shop and grab a bite to eat in the BBQ tent. The cost is £10 per car and you must apply and pay online before the event.

MEET OUTSIDE THE HOTEL RECEPTION ON FRIDAY AT 18:50, LEAVE AT 19:00

HOW DO I BOOK THIS?

To reserve your Figaro, you must book this directly with Caffeine & Machine and this can be done in 3 steps

STEP 1 – Click here

STEP 2 – In the drop-down menu, select Jun 25, 2021 at 19.00 – 22:00 (BST)

STEP 3 – On the page scroll down and select CAR TICKET £10:00 (NO BOOKING FEE) Select 1

Even if you have emailed Kevin before and confirmed your attendance, you still need to book and pay the £10


SATURDAY 26th JUNE 
CAR TOURS/EXPLORE THE AREA

You may wish to explore the local area and join one of four Car Tours been published by Explore England. The tours start at locations away from the hotel so we have included routes to the start point. We have allowed you to personalise each tour so you may wish to stay somewhere for a couple of hours or stop somewhere for lunch or just complete half and make your way back to the hotel. It’s up to you! You need to decide which tour you would like to attend as you will be required to download and print off the routes before you leave home.

On Saturday meet in the hotel reception at the time indicated below. You will need to decide as a group who is going to lead the convoy if you wish to stay as a group.

ARRIVAL TIME
We ask you to arrive between 09:30 and 10:30 as we need to get up to 300 cars parked in colour order! Once parked then please make your way to the vintage village being mindful of moving traffic. See the venue map below (subject to change).

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

What time does the display field open?


The display field opens at 09:30 but all cars must be parked by 10:30. If you arrive after 10:30 you will need to park in our overflow car park.


Is there food available on the day?


Yes, we have Caterers cooking Baked Potatoes, Wood Fired Pizzas, Tea, Coffee, Cake, Ice Cream, and also Candy Floss!


Can I camp?


No, unfortunately, you are not allowed to camp at the venue.


Is the event open to the General Public?


No, unfortunately, due to the track and trace procedures the event permission only covers private attendance (club members).


Can I bring my dog?


Yes, the venue is dog-friendly and has many walks within the venue.


If I cancel or don’t attend, can I have a refund?


No, unfortunately, we can not refund cancellations.


Can I fly my drone?


No, but we will be capturing all the fun with our licensed drone operator
