We are delighted to bring you our 2024 Figaro Rally where we will be exploring the delights of Devon! Each day will include tours of beautiful Devon visiting both the moor and Sea. Whilst full details and timings will follow nearer the date, we plan to cover; East Devon, Dartmoor, South Devon, Torbay and Teign Valley.

38 (2 groups of 19 will go the daily routes)

Price:
There will be two costs. The accommodation which you will be required to book and pay directly with the hotel via the information contained in the registration email and the Rally pack/Entertainment will be invoiced by us at a later date with a Paypal link to pay.

Accommodation
The rally will be based at the Langstone Cliff Hotel. The Langstone Cliff Hotel is ideally located to allow us to explore the area. They have offered discounted group rates for accommodation which includes Bed, Breakfast (buffet) and Dinner. Prices even include a glass of wine, sherry, beer or orange juice with your dinner. One significant benefit is you can also choose what you would like from the menu each evening.

£712* per couple for twin/double room (+£12 per room per night supplement to guarantee a room with a balcony)
£416* for a single room

*A £20 non-returnable deposit is required per person.

About the hotel. Immersed within 19 acres of child-friendly woodland on the beautiful Devon coast, this family-run hotel boasts magnificent views over the golden sandy beaches and Dawlish Warren Nature Reserve. With so much to see and do in the area, the hotel is also a popular destination for families. The 64 en-suite bedrooms are located on just 2 floors with 10 rooms located on the ground floor. The remainder are on the first floor which can be reached by a lift or 4 staircases. For moments of relaxation, you can stroll through the gardens or enjoy views of the sea from one of the communal rooms. 3 exceptionally comfortable lounges offer you a quiet corner for a chat or even a snooze. The hotel has both indoor and outdoor swimming pools for guests to enjoy. The indoor pool is open all year round. There are some limited spa facilities and massages available. We require everyone attending the rally to stay in this hotel. This not only helps the logistics of running the event on a day-to-day bases but also builds friendships and supports our figgy family vibe.

As the rally is working in progress and we wanted to launch it asap, we are still hoping to produce a Rally Pack including:

Entertainment – Contribution to costs for either a DJ/Live band

This will be AN ADDITIONAL COST and will be requested in due course

Description/Itinerary:

Places we will visit
Members, Lynette and Rob live locally and are very happy to plan some awesome days out for us all. The rally book will include tulip routes for each day. The routes will have full “Tulip” notes and will ensure stops for coffee/toilet as well as some downtime for you to relax or explore at your leisure.

East Devon – taking in Exmouth, Seaton, Sidmouth, Beer and various “chocolate box” villages
Dartmoor – amazing scenery, picturesque villages
South Devon – Salcombe, Slapton Sands, Blackpool Sands, Dartmouth
Torbay – Drive along the seafront from Paignton to Torquay. We hope to arrange a tour of the caves at Kent’s Caverns before continuing through Labrador Bay, Shaldon and Teignmouth.
Teign Valley – drive down the Teign Valley and through some of the beautiful Teign Villages
