Britfest is a brand-new festival which aims to celebrate all things British; music, culture, cars, food, drink, sport, entertainment and more…. We have been invited to attend this event and showcase our retro cars!

Dates
We meet the night before and can stay the day after the event finishes so the dates are Thursday 04/07/24 to Monday 08/07/24 Note! The actual event runs from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th of July.

Event Description
The Brit Fest will take place from Friday 5th July to Sunday 7th July 2024 on the grounds of Ashley Hall & Showground, just a mile from Hale Village – As exhibitors we would require to arrive on Thursday 4th July after 12 noon. There is an option to stay and depart on the Monday morning (8th July)
The stellar list of headline acts already committed for the event includes Scouting For Girls, Kim Wilde, Heather Small, The Feeling, Fleur East, Cast, Tom Bailey of the Thompson Twins, Starsailor, Toploader, Reef, Dodgy, Lottery Winners, Hot Chocolate, Nik Kershaw, Paul Young, and Tunde Baiyewu from The Lighthouse Family.
There are many other activities at the festival, including, obviously a range of car exhibitors.

Camping
The BritFest – a new festival, offers us the opportunity to showcase our cars over the weekend whilst enjoying the full range of festival activities. There is no charge to display your Figaro and each car will receive TWO complimentary tickets to the full festival weekend. Camping is also available FREE of charge – ‘Glamping’ and facilities for ‘Live in vehicles’ (Campervans etc). are available at a cost – similar to the costs for the public attending the event. I hope to also get some information on local Hotels/B&Bs for those less inclined to camp!
How to register
Please note the following which are the Conditions of signing up to attend:
- The BritFest – a new festival, offers us the opportunity to showcase our cars over the weekend whilst enjoying the full range of festival activities. - The £50 charge is towards Club costs, particularly the hire of a 6mx3m gazebo for the weekend (to shelter from the sun, obviously!!) Depending on the number attending there may be money due to be refunded to members, and that will be arranged just before the event.
- There is an expectation (see registration form) that members will be in attendance at the Club stand during the day as per a rota that will be prepared. The rota will allow everyone to get full enjoyment from the festival activities during the day. Your vehicle also needs to be displayed for the full weekend as no vehicle movement is permitted during the festival weekend.
- It is expected we will set up the display stand on Thursday 4th July with the festival running from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th. As the festival runs to Sunday evening, there is the option to stay until Monday morning (8th July) before departing.
