NEC Classic Motor Show – Friday 14th/Sunday 16th November 2014

We spent 3 very enjoyable days at the NEC Classic Car Show talking, eating and even dreaming about Figs! Each year we learn more about how to do this show better and indeed this year another lesson as members were hoping to buy ‘Club T-Shirts’ from the stand which we didn’t have for sale (note to self for next year). The number of people we spoke to was simply mind-boggling, many of which instantly fell in love with the shape and quality of the car.

‘I feel so proud showing off these special little cars and get such a buzz seeing people’s reactions when I tell them all the cars were built with the same spec and include retractable soft-top, power steering, automatic gearbox, air-conditioning, leather interior and CD player and more…’

The best reaction was from a lady who thought the club car was brand new and when I told her it was 24 years old she just couldn’t believe it…
