Graham Foulston – The 007 Figaro

Congratulations to Graham Foulston and his Figaro ‘Ting Tong’. The car is a stunning example and brimming with gadgets and technology!

Graham’s story – I bought my car privately in September 2008 and worked on the looks and the mechanics since then. I’ve bought many of the original factory accessories as I could find so far with the jewel in the crown (for me anyway) being the extremely rare boot rack. It was in a sorry state but I had the rack re-chromed and all the brackets powder coated and it now looks brand new.

I concentrated a lot on the interior as well covering the dash, radio (Upgraded by Clarion), gear shift etc in a very glossy wood effect, probably not to everyone’s taste but I like it. I also integrated my iPhone into the armrest which now talks to the radio via USB and it also plays all my MP3’s (over 2000 tracks) from my iPhone through the radio.

Obviously very, very pleased, it really does mean a lot to me. I’m looking forward to going to a few meets this year and to know that TingTong has been voted ‘Figaro Car of the Year 2009’ will make me feel so proud. Also a very BIG “Thank You” to all the people who took the time and effort to vote, not just for me but for everyone else in the competition too .I’m very happy and this has made all the hard work along with scraped knuckles and the occasional swearword so worthwhile”
